 যখন একটি কাজ অতীতে ঘটছিল এবং সেই সময়ে আরেকটি কাজ ঘটেছিল, তখন যে কাজটি চলছিল তার জন্য Past Continuous Tense ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং যে কাজটি ঘটেছিল তার জন্য Past Indefinite Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়। এখানে "When I saw the gardener" Past Indefinite Tense-এ আছে, তাই "he ---- tree" অংশটি Past Continuous Tense-এ হবে।

Adjective ( rich ) এর পূর্বে the বসালে তা Plural Common Noun হিসেবে গণ্য হয় । এ কারণে are বসবে ।

Diary - অর্থ - দিনলিপি, অর্থাৎ a book in which the experiences of each day are written down. Autobiography - অর্থ আত্মজীবনী, অর্থাৎ The story of a person's life written by himself. Chronicle অর্থ - কালানুক্রমিক ঘটনাপঞ্জি, অর্থাৎ The story of a person's life written by somebody else.
