General বা universal truth হলো এমন সত্য যা সময় বা পরিস্থিতি পরিবর্তন হলেও অক্ষুণ্ণ থাকে

Present Indefinite Tense দিয়ে এসব সত্যকে সাধারণভাবে বা নিয়মিত সত্য হিসেবে প্রকাশ করা হয়

উদাহরণে: The earth moves around the sun.

এখানে Subject = The earth (third person singular), Verb = move + s → moves

এটি বোঝায় যে পৃথিবী নিয়মিত সূর্যের চারপাশে ঘুরছে, যা সবসময় সত্য

Shakespeare - এর বিখ্যাত comedy - গুলোর মধ্যে Measure for Measure অন্যতম । তার আর ও কিছু বিখ্যাত comedy - র মধ্যে রয়েছে। Twelfth Night, Ali's Well That Ends Well, As You Like It, The Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night's Dream ইত্যাদি।তার বিখ্যাত tragedy গুলো হচ্ছে - Hamlet, King Lear, Othello, Macbeth, Romeo, and Juliet ইত্যাদি।
